The Newport Beanie
I suggest using a light bulky weight yarn. I tried some bulky weight yarns that are a little thicker (like Loops and Threads Charisma), but the end result was a lot bigger and a lot stiffer. The point of this beanie is to be lightweight, but warm. Stitchbird is an acrylic/wool blend, so it will be an easy machine wash. I also plan to use some Lion Brand Scarfie for these hats. I think that yarn will be perfect (not to mention, gorgeous)!
