Seeking Crochet Expert Who Would Like To Earn Money Doing Something They Love On A Fun Project
My name is Brittany, and I run a popular lifestyle blog (learn more about the blog and me here: https://idealme.com/about/ ) and am seeking a crochet expert to help create crochet training material for my website and readers.
This is an opportunity to participate in a fun and exciting crochet project and make some money doing something you love (crochet).
The material created will be used in a new class & crochet challenge we’re launching to our blog readers. The goal of the 30-day challenge is to help participants of the challenge accomplish a specific project by the end of the 30 days. Most likely this project will be a blanket or an afghan.
For this project, we will be paying on an hourly basis.
I expect that the project will involve 30-40 hours of work over the next month. We’re flexible on timing so for the most part can work around your schedule.
To give you an idea of where the time will be spent, here is a rough breakdown:
5 Hours Filming The Crochet Project: The successful applicant will join us in our studio with our film crew to film an instructional video on the project that we will be tackling over the 30 day period (most likely a blanket). While the majority of the video will be filming your hands only (see an example video here: ) Applicants must be comfortable with the idea of being filmed.
5-15 Hours Pre-Film Prep Work: Myself and the Ideal Me team will consult with you before filming the video project, so that our team of writers and designers can create the materials needed for our readers and students to follow the pattern and get step by step instructions through out the 30 day period.
15 Hours: The Class & Challenge will be released to students over a 30 day period. We will also have a Facebook Group for participants of the challenge and the successful applicant for this project should be prepared to spend up to 30 minutes a day (on your own time) answering questions that come up within the Facebook Group from participants.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Must be located in L.A area or willing to come to L.A for the day for filming
- Is an expert at crochet
- Loves teaching
- Is comfortable /open to being on camera
- Wants to form a long term relationship and ideally work on other projects like this on an ongoing basis.
