I wanted to do a digital product on how to retire early because I’m an Investment advisor. I found blogs that are receiving 80k or more monthly visitors however keyword planner on Google has the following monthly figures…

‘how to retire early’ – 3600
    ‘early retirement’ – 1900
    ‘retire early’ – 1900
    ‘how to retire at 55’ – 100
    ‘early retirement’ – 6000

Kinda far from your 30k requirement. What do you think? Move on?

      Hey Dan,

You may want to consider the niche more as “financial independence” rather than early retirement. There are many great huge blogs on this…basically the idea of living off your wealth without working more. Early retirement may be too narrow, plus many people in there 40-50s wouldnt consider the phrase early retirement, rather just retirement and be trying to plan for that. A few sites to look at : budgetsaresexy.com mrmoneymustache.com those should get you started in the right direction, but there are literally hundreds of sites like this that I love!

    Hey Brittany

    A few questions..

Im looking to start this for my local offline gym business to see if I can generate leads more cost effectively..

So Im taking it that the numbers / searches etc are less of an issue in this scenario

Also I have a number of ideas around an info marketing product..

What are your thoughts on niching down to the UK?

    Thanks

      Hey Dave,

Niching down the info product to the U.K? Hmm I’d need to know a bit more about the info product. My gut would be not too, unless you want to do an entire back end with seminars and in room training in which case that would make sense.

Yes don’t worry about searches. You’ve proved the niche. To get leads for your gym what I’d do is I’d add a blog to your website, and your offer would be your gym membership. Do you have a free trial or something? I’d create blog posts related to weight loss, muscle gain etc using tools outlined in the course and then create a facebook ad around that…however I would geo target your ads to your neighborhood as you only want people who live close enough to join!

No I specifically mentioned you don’t need to buy it. You can use the web plugin for free so don’t worry about the paid membership. You don’t need it.

What do you think?
